Whisky (Whiskey depending on where it was produced) has become such a popular spirit worldwide over the last few decades, especially since the mid-nineties, that there has been a surge in the number of countires producing it.
Nations such as Ireland, Japan and the U.S.A. have a rich history of whisky production but now we are seeing production in more obscure places such as South Africa, India, France, New-Zealand, England and Holland.
