A special limited edition gin created using 100% hand foraged botanicals from Galloway.
Distilling with local grain, weeks are spent hand foraging the botanicals exclusively from nearby hillsides, forests, woodlands, hedgerows, fields, coastline and estuaries. Capturing a true essence of our region, the 2024 edition brings you local wheat to create our smooth base spirit, along with local Juniper, Crab Apples, Crafty Estate Elderberry, Sweet Cicely, Chanterelle, Spiral Wrack & Raspberry.
This year’s Galloway Gin is rich and buoyant. Juniper led, with an initial savoury punch from chanterelles, giving way to a mild berry sweetness, with maritime and floral notes, shouldered by a massive zing from tart crab apples. A beautiful capture in time of Galloway this year. Clean and fresh, leaning towards savoury.
