Bowmore Aston Martin Masters’Selection 21-year-old, the fourth and final edition in the Series, is a true celebration of this inspired partnership.
As the collaborative Series reaches a crescendo, this single malt captures this same spirit through its character, as is classically Bowmore. Bringing together whiskies matured in Tawny Port American Oak casks and Oloroso Sherry butts, this single malt pays homage to the true intentionality which defines Bowmore. With nutty sweetness on the nose, opening to a rich and spicy flair to taste, this single malt gathers momentum, flavour and intensity at every stage.Nose: Rich and complex, balanced between nutty character and sweetness with initial notes of roasted hazelnuts, leather, fresh pipe tobacco, dark chocolate and oak spices. Followed by dark maple syrup, liquorice and charred peaches, with a Background of Creme Anglaise, bergamot syrup, subtle sandalwood and light peaty notes.
Taste: Roasted chestnuts, honey sweet with rich salted toffee, grilled Seville orange zest and dry thyme, with sultanas, oak spices, velvety milk chocolate and peat smoke.
Finish: The finish starts with a velvety mouthcoating, then a mouth warming with long drying finish of peat smoke notes
