About Tomintoul Small Batch Madeira Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, created this small batch bottling by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels,which are then married and finished in hand selected Madeira wine barrels sourced from Portugal’s Madeira Islands

The process of ‘finishing’ creates a beautifully rich, complex and full flavoured single malt scotch whisky.

Nose: : A bouquet of summer berries, spiced fruits and ginger biscuits with chocolate orange and baking spices

Palate: : Layers of juicy cantaloupe melon, brambles and candied peels with chocolate mousse, syrup flapjacks and toasted oak.

Finish: Cosy cake spices and cacao with highlights of ripe banana, vanilla panna cotta and marmalade
