About Tomintoul Small Batch Amarone Cask Finish Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, created this small batch bottling by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which are then married and finished in hand selected Amarone wine barrels sourced from Italy.

The process of ‘finishing’ creates a beautifully rich, complex and full flavoured single malt scotch whisky.

Nose: : Inviting aromas of cherry crumble, sultanas and baking spices with hints of oatmeal flapjacks and cocoa

Palate: : Layers of summer fruit pudding, raspberry coulis, ginger biscuits and salted caramel with creamy panna cotta and cedar spices.

Finish: Warming impressions of honey and raisin porridge, pink peppercorn and chocolate cherry liqueurs lingering long on the tongue.
