About Loch Lomond 29 Year Old - French Sauterne Finish - Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 152nd Open - 2024 - Royal Troon

We are delighted to present this outstanding Single Malt, Robbie's Whisky Merchants have strong links to Golf being located in the heart of Ayrshire and are proud to be only 7 miles from Royal Troon.

Created in celebration of the 152nd Open at Royal Troon, and the distilleries  proud relationship with golf’s oldest, most prestigious tournament. This 29 year old single malt was distilled in 1995 using unpeated malt from the unique Straight Neck stills at the distillery.

This exclusive cask whisky started its life in American Oak casks and is then finished in the finest French Sauternes casks.

Only 152 bottles available worldwide.

The Open, also referred to as the British Open, is the oldest and most prestigious golf tournament in the world with each bottle proudly carrying the Claret Jug logo.

Nose: Blossom honey, peach and apple, with lemon citrus.

Palate: Maple syrup, tropical fruit, mango and pineapple, candied orange and vanilla.

Finish: Long with subtle ginger and cinnamon spices.

Bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered at 47.8% with natural colour.
