About Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky - ‘The Casks of Lindores Release II, STR Wine Barrique

Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky ‘The Casks Of Lindores 2 STR Wine Barrique’ is a Limited Bottling from Lindores Abbey Distillery. Matured exclusively in Shaved, Toasted and Recharred red Wine Barriques from Spain and Portugal for over four years with the age of the youngest spirit as 4 years and 8 months. This Lindores Single Malt is bottled onsite at our unique Limited-Edition strength of 49.4% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Color: Dark chestnut

Nose: Very mellow fruity plum jam, caramelized muscovado sugar, Scottish butter tablet notes and cinnamon touches.

Palate: Sweet plums and dates, ripe apricots with baking spices and roasted chestnuts. Notes of apple and cinnamon pie at the back with a very smooth texture and a pleasant finish.
