About Dalmore 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky - 2023 Release

This annual limited edition begins its maturation journey in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, giving a base of soft vanilla and honey. Further enhancement follows, with a longer finishing in 30 year old hand selected Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks, exclusive to The Dalmore, from the González Byass bodega in Spain.

The placing of these casks close to the cold, damp floor and walls of the dunnage warehouses at The Dalmore Distillery, allowing this whisky to reach its full potential: an exceptionally unique single malt with a rich, deep chocolate character.

Aroma Vanilla, dark chocolate, English marmalade, and sweet liquorice.

Palate Chocolate raisins, citrus fruits, rich coffee, nutmeg, and spice.

Finish Stewed fruits and toffee.
