About Deanston - 12 Year Old - 2007 - Calvados Finish Cask - Single Malt Scotch Whisky

 

Spending two years in casks formerly occupied by distilled French cider has given out soft and honeyed single malt a certain je ne sais quoi. An added crunch, almost. Because it has the fresh crispness and
sweetness of green apples, together with candied fruit and citrus zest.

 

Colour: Light Gold


Nose: Honeyed with hints of crisp Granny Smith apples, citrus and creamy caramel.


Palate: Crisp and sweet, hints of sharp green apple, candied fruit, and citrus zest.


Finish: Crisp and fresh, honey and sweet fruit.


Cask Strength 57.3% Non Chillfiltered Natural Colour.
