About Balvenie 14 Year Old - Caribbean Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This whisky definitely warrants an appearance in our "Weird & Wonderful" section. It is aged for 14 years in traditional oak casks (Nothing weird about that I hear you say? Wait for it...) before being transferred in to ex-Caribbean Rum casks. Weird...but wonderful!

The Rum casks have caused a delicious Caribbean twist on proceedings leading to a whisky that is well-rounded with vanilla and sweet oak notes and an ever-developing fruity character.
