Tomatin - 2008 - The French Collection - Cognac Casks - Limited Edition - Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

The French Collection exhibits the unique influence imparted by different types of French Wine & Spirits casks in an exceptional showcase. The whisky, distilled in 2008, was laid down in traditional Scotch Whisky oak casks prior to being moved into Monbazillac, Sauternes, Rivesaltes and Cognac casks for its final maturation, resulting in a magnificent collection.

Only 6,000 bottles of each addition available worldwide.

The Cognac Edition 4 of 4

Distilled on 16th May 2008, this whisky is brimming with fresh fruit and floral flavours with subtle notes of lavender and Scottish heather. On the palate there are hints of cranberry, orange zest and rose water with well-balanced spices. The French oak provides a finish which is long, with notes of Earl Grey tea and poached pears.

Non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% abv.
