Blend comprising 47% Malt whisky and 53% Grain whisky.
Primary Maturation
18 years in a combination of 1st fill American Barrels, 2nd fill Barrels and Hogsheads and Sherry Butts.
Secondary Maturation
Pedro Ximenez, Oloroso Puncheons and Appalachian Oak.
Tasting Notes
Colour : Natural gold bronze.
Nose : Beautifully soft background with heather honey,butterscotch, peat reek and hints of tannin's.
Taste : Rich notes of heather honey, butterscotch, orange peel and soft tannin's, with a wonderful presence of peat and smoke.
