Introducing Big Peat 10 Year Old Limited Edition.
Established in 2009, Big Peat is now celebrating his 10th birthday in 2019. This particular whisky gentleman has been a friend of Robbie's Drams for his full age statement and as a company we have nominated him for many awards!
A vatting of heavily peated single malts exclusivey from Islay, bottled at 46% ABV without colouring or chill-filtration.
This latest Limited Edition is a homage to Islay Blended Malts produced by our friends Douglas Laing & Co Ltd.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Peat smoke, damp earth and leaves with a peppery warmth.
Palate: Smoked barley and BBQ ash, a sea-salt tang balanced by a leathery sweetness.
Finish: Long with streaky bacon, tobacco, toasted marshmallows and charred wood.
