The Glenmorangie 18 Year old is presented very handsomely with the liquid within being just as good. The spirit is aged for 15 Years in ex-bourbon casks before 30% is removed and aged for three years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks while the remaining 70% continues to mature in the Bourbon casks. Once both liquids reach 18 Years, they are remarried and bottled. 

Initially, this dram is like creamy porridge with honey drizzled through before dried fruit and wood smoke flavours emerge.
